After 300 km, Our Porto Rest Days Became Cycling + Surfing!
行咗300公里,Porto 休息日竟然變成踩單車+滑浪?!
Camino Portugués Days 16–18 were supposed to be rest days — but after walking 300+ km into Porto, the couple's plan to chill turned into cycling AND surfing! Recharging their own way, then back on the trail.
💡 Rest days on a long hike don't have to mean doing nothing — in a big-city stop like Porto, cycling and surfing are a brilliant way to recharge in your own style.
Porto's colours and energy, 300 km in
After walking 300+ km, we finally reached the must-visit Porto. The city's colours and energy hit you only when you're there in person. The Camino Portugués is about 260 km from Porto to Santiago — we'd walked most of the way from Lisbon, and Porto was our biggest city stop yet.
We planned to chill. We went cycling and surfing instead.
We were planning to just chill in Porto — but our 'rest days' turned into cycling AND surfing! We recharged in our favourite way, and now it's time to keep walking. 🚶🚶♀️
